The ‘Best Metropolitan festival’ award celebrates the best festivals our cities have to offer. Located either in a city, or just outside, these festivals are convenient and creative non-camping events that promise you the comfort of your own bed at the end of the night.

This year sees the return of the Irish Festival Awards for the thirteenth year. Quite simply, a time to acknowledge and reward the hard work and efforts by all behind Ireland’s exuberant festival circuit.

The voting is split into 5 categories and is now open. In order to complete the voting process you must vote in each category.

This is your chance to see your favourite Irish Festival win, and to celebrate the countless amounts of work that has gone in to each and every festival. Think back on your most enjoyable and memorable festival experiences of 2019 and choose carefully. Voting closes 31st January 2020 and winners will be announced early February.
